TSF 2009
Whew, what a day, and it's not even over! Woke up extra early this morning and got a great start to the day. Looks like Kelly may be going home in the morning if baby doesn't arrive, but it sure has been nice having her here.
The kids have had so much fun having their MiMi around. Adyson and MiMi are at Crystal's right now getting some alone time while the boys are here resting. I have cleaned everything and anything imaginable to try and get things moving, but only some light contractions so far. I really thought our walk last night would cue this little one to come, but God's timing is perfect.
I'm hoping when the girls return from their lunch date I can take Hudson for a hard stroll through the neighborhood (lots of hills) to see if things pick up.
Since the fair officially opens today, we are planning on heading out there when Jeremy gets home; it could be our only chance to go!
Update: Things are looking good! Stopped by to meet my midwife on the way to the fair & she thinks she will be seeing me tonight or in the morning. My parents are headed down in hopes this is it!

After seeing the animals, eating corny dogs and getting my Greek Salad, we squeezed in time to let the sweet kids ride one ride. I really felt the need to leave sooner and run home to get the kids bathed and tucked in so they would be down for the night, but what is the fair without rides???

So they chose a cute airplane ride and had a blast. The way it whipped around at each end as it turned slung a smile out of them everytime. Hudsie cheered them on from the sidelines since he was nowhere near the height requirements.
Finally, back home & my parents just arrived!
(written Friday - on and off throughout the afternoon and evening - After I got the kids snuggled down for the night and prepared all of the beds upstairs for guests, I headed downstairs to join Jeremy and spend some time together. He had drawn a warm bath for me to soak in and instantly I felt my first attention-getting contraction around 10:30p. Realized it wasn't false labor around 11:30p September 25th when they were coming quick and hard.)

Here it is Monday morning, just me and Adyson. The house is so quiet ... it's almost eerie. My mother and mother in law have taken Landon and Hudson back to OK after spending the weekend with us. Contractions were strong and frequent throughout the night Friday, and the grandmothers thought they would come down and hang around Saturday to see if anything was going to happen. We were busy all over the place Saturday and by the evening they were not that painful, but they were so long and close together. No more during the night, so it seemed best for them to just head home for a few days.
Plus Jeremy left Sunday morning for OKC and he will be there to spend time with the boys in the evening when he is done at work. I have been able to rest a lot over the last day and half. Adyson is such a thoughtful girl. She loves to cover me up and surprise me with a fresh glass of water. We have been cuddling a lot in my bed reading the new library books we got Saturday. Our theme for the week is clocks.
Most of the day yesterday was spent playing barbies and coloring a very detailed pattern (for almost 2 hours). While we were finishing up coloring with her new markers last night, Adyson looked up at me with her huge eyes and just smiled, gave me a tight hug and told me this had been the best day of her life! I love how she is becoming so affectionate and starting to share her feelings with me. Tucked in bed last night, she fell asleep in my arms while I read her the Bible. As I stared at the peaceful child, I relived the last 5 years we have had together. It seems like only yesterday it was her birth that I was anticipating and now here we are sharing this new excitement together. She so badly wants a little sister. It seems that this one is going to be a boy, but God I know you hear this little girls heart and it would joy her so to have a baby sister.
Hoping this baby will hold off until at least Wednesday.

27.
Yesterday my amazing husband and kids were sneaky snakes. Somehow they all woke up before me and made a scrumptious breakfast. Toast with jam and butter, eggs, bacon, english muffins and coffee - the WORKS. They must have hired some mice to do the work, because I seriously didn't hear a thing!
What a great start is was to the day and it ended just a sweet - cupcakes from one of my favorite cupcakeries! I'm sure it is really a bakery, but the cupcakes are so amazing and it is the only thing I ever eat from there.
So in my 27 years I feel like I have accomplished quite a bit, but more importantly I have enjoyed it all! I thought I would list out 27 special moments from the past year, but then I realized that is a near impossible task with my memory. So instead, here are 27 things I plan to do in the next year of my life:
1. Welcome Precious Life #4
2. Celebrate 6 years of marriage, whew!
3. Teach my children how to learn and love it
4. Resume church announcements
5. Spend more time sewing
6. Try gardening again, even though I have only picked 2 strawberries this year :(
7. Keep on blogging
8. Project 365
9. Volunteer in the community
10. Get my bikini body back
11. Read more books
12. Travel to 12 new places, hoping one is far far away :)
13. Print some of our family photos and frame them
14. Improve in overall home skills
15. Work a little
16. Get a new lens for my camera
17. See U2
18. Shoot new family photos before Christmas
19. Complete house projects
20. Try new recipes
21. New prescription for contacts
22. Go on a Missions Trip
23. Attend a family reunion
24. Get a pet fish for the kids
25. Finish Christmas shopping by Dec. 1st, so I can just enjoy the most wonderful time of the year
26. Catch up with old friends
27. Make new friends ~ always :)

Birthday Fun!
Over the weekend we had some of our favorite guests: DaddyPa, Grammy, Haley, MeMe and Misty. This was suppose to be a big gathering with the Webster side of the family, but since I am trying to take it easy, we postponed the event.
I look forward to having all of the family together for my birthday every year - it's the best gift I could ever ask for. But this year was just as special as my MeMe got to come down and visit. This is the first time she had ever seen us in Dallas and we were so glad to welcome her into our home. She is a real trooper for making the ride.
We took it easy Saturday by trying to teach Haley how to whistle and watching some movies. I think the whistling part was hilarious! All of my kids can whistle to some degree, even Hudson. It was quite amusing watching him try to teach her, if you can call it that. I think he gave up on her, but she'll get it soon enough :) Can you believe we even found some Little Rascal episodes that had been digitally colored? Of course, the kids loved them! Too much fun.
As the night went on I did some sewing and Latin with my mom & sister after the kids were tucked in - more on the sewing project later this week.
Sunday morning was pleasant. My parents and sister attended church with us, which rocks by the way (www.theheartlandchurch.com), and then we chowed for brunch at Cafe Brazil before letting them go back home to Oklahoma.
I love my family so much, if you can't tell :) Next time we see them our family will be +1, yay!~
